AN ANNUAL ENGLISH COMPETITION WAS JUST CONDUCTED LIKE SUMMER CAMP IN AMERICA
The competition of English conducted this year was arranged quite well by the committee of ESC ( English Speaking Club ) of STKIP Hamzanwadi Pancor. This was the second time after the conduction last year. The representative students of each schools took part on the competition seemed enthusiastic and got ready to perform their English competency. The schools represented Junior High were SMPN 1 Selong ( our beloved school ), MTs NW Sepit, MTs Baiturrahim Kabar, MTs Dasan Geres. And the Senior High level was represented by MA NW Muallimat Pancor, MA NW Sepit, MA Baiturrahim, SMKN 1 Sakra. The English Competition were Retelling Story Contest, Speech Contest and Smart Contest. Two representative students of each school competed on the retelling story and speech contest but the team from each schools to join the smart contest consisted of three students. All of the participants had been prepared well by the respective English coach. As the result, those who did a great effort had crowned as the winner. Thanks God, our beloved school got 5 trophies home. The winners are :

1st winner is M. Zussofal Muharromi
3rd winner is Siti Fadhila Musafira

Alvian Mahesya and Lalu Faris Naufal

Smart Contest was the second competition to conduct that SMPN 1 Selong Team got the first turn to compete with the team from MTs. Dasan Geres.The result was extraordinary, our team left the opponent behind so faarrr.. The students of Spensasel are awesome :)
On the final session the team competed with the team from MTs. Baiturrahim Kabar. And for sure our team won with an excellent score.

This was the first chance for Dilla to do story telling. The result was so unbelievable, she won the third place. Good job girl. Just prepare yourself to do this for second semester this year.
Dila answered the jurors' question about her understanding about the story. It was the story about the Hawk who felt in love with a hen.
